IXT 311 LF

IXT-311 LF pigments are thermoset type, applicable for systems where high solvent resistance is required.  These are insoluble in a greater number of solvents and specially designed for use in formulations for coatings, paints & inks where strong solvents and heat are used.

These pigments have superior light fastness, solvent resistance and least migration in PVC than regular fluorescent thermoset type pigments.

Light Fastness:

  • Fluorescent colours have enough light fastness for indoor applications and limited light fastness for outdoor applications
  • To improve light fastness
    • Use higher concentration of pigments
    • Use UV absorbers
    • Use acrylic overcoats
